  • the judge: its possible the race office missed the co-ownwe ship on the proof and  did not penalize the horse/ owner by scratching. many times , horses are scratched to cya for office errors . good call , yonkers !!

  • titans1127: It was announced before the card started that it was due to common ownership.  There should have been a coupled entry with nuncio and burke's horse as takers wife co owns it.  For some reason they didn't couple them early enough so they had to do it.

  • je22jets: Can anyone answer why yonkers scratched Nuncio from the betting tonight but let him race. Only think I can think of is that someone made a large show bet and Yonkers realized they were going to lose there ass on the bet. Only problem is not fair to the actual gambler who played pick 4s. Please someone answer this before I go any further with this. Another slap in the face to the gambler.
