« on: October 14, 2026, 11:18:31 PM »
10/7 9th race horse Cold Decked dead lame wins get claimed for  10k  watch the race looked like he was going to fall down. Races back a week later 10/14 race 8  DNF   almost went down   how does this get by the people that are in charge of protecting the horses.

I agree self, the horse was DEAD LAME last week. Not sure how the horse didn't get scratched and why would anyone want to claim a horse like that after watching it warm up.

Are they required to warm up? Some trainers don't. But he was DEAD LAME finishing the mile he was claimed out of.

q  race on  Sat  enter   for wed  73cv.2 73cv.2my point is that no on could see the way that horse raced on 10/07  with the head nod that some action should have taken then . If you  watched the race u would have saw that.  that's the point I am establishing  be cute   on another post not one that is pointing out a serious issue.

Batavia downs is probably in the top 3 harness tracks for being the most crooked. Even going back to when joe zambito was race secretary and Todd haight ran the races, those two bet with both hands, zambitos training buddies all seemed to draw inside posts. Race secretary Tom agosti now, is no better. They allow any trainer to come in , lots of ones that are known drug users , on top of the local trainers that use drugs, smith, kiblin, the Russo’s, rice, brandstatter hall, McDonough, Dave McNeight jr, petrelli, all scum ! Not suprised one bit that Taylor Fritz , the old trainer of cold decked b4 he was claimed last week loaded him up to win , which he did, knew he would definitely get claimed for $7500 , she knew he was gutted and lame , she dont give a fuck , he exhusband , trainer / driver Shawn McDonough probably had those needles so far in that poor horses legs and veins. Fritz now back dating McDonough , so she is using his free vet services .. I would never claim a horse from that track because of so many drugs going thru those barns and into the horses, you have no idea what you are getting when claiming from those piece of shit scumbags !

Top to bottom on the regulatory, either incompetent and or crooks.

The crooks are the smart ones unfortunately  ngc3

You did the right thing though, maybe you'll get lucky!  tmbz1

Fritz might be even worse than McDonough every horse gets 4 shots on race day. She has spoken laying around all over her barn at the farm, unlabled bottles they all need to be investigated.

What about Kiblin? Banned from training now using beards to train his horses. Way to funny. The drugs these clowns are using is obscene. Time to bring PETA in.
