That was a big mile. Chad got all excited. Pentland's barn has come alive. That was crazy fast for a 2 year old filly.

his barn has come alive ??? no shit
just look at jersey bull dog and red land
they are not just winning they are destroying the competition
i mean cmon
i hope all is legit
i hope the AGCO etc is at least paying some attention to this upswing and just doing regular checks etc
you know , like they did for funtyme bayama and look what they found
they owe it to other trainers/owners just to make sure all is good

i wish there was somebody caring about the welfare of this horse....Pentland and McClure don,t seem to
those fractions by a 2yr old, filly is ungodly..and probably unsustainable

See how sound she is for the BC if she’s going or when she comes back next year.  Way too fast in my opinion.

They all had to be in the retention barn by 11 PM on Friday, so about 20+ hours; didn't see any yogurt?

#1.    Mohawk is around 1 second faster than it was

I heard they changed the surface slightly.

So now you see all these "1:48 " miles that used

to be 1:49 and change...

Not a true indication

Some 2 yr olds have been placed on steroids during the

winter meet down in Florida where there is 0 testing

and come up to Canada and dominate in the OSS

I dont think there is even a ban on the use of steroids

to build muscle but you cannot use within a

certain time of the race.

No secret that many of the "name" horses are just too

good to be true at 2 and then fall off at 3.

The horses that werent on steroids catch up and pass

at some point....

my point in comparing the times of the winners is the 2 yr old filly almost was the fastest of the 4 pacing winners, 1/5 off redland ??
in the past that would have been the slowest of the 4 groups
not comparing times to past ones just within the group from Saturday night

Excellent point. I wasn't live/on track, so I don't know about the weather, track condition, etc. However, I did talk to several people who were and they said the weather was colder than normal but consistent, and the track was consistent throughout the night.....but the wind was definitely a factor.
