when politicians respected each other!
« on: October 04, 2026, 09:53:52 PM »
Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford ran against each other in 1976. When Ford passed away in 2006, Carter gave the eulogy at his funeral.
When Carter passed away in 2024, Ford's son Steve spoke at Carter's funeral.
Barack Obama and John McCain ran against each other in 2008.
When McCain passed away in 2018, Obama gave the eulogy at McCain's funeral.
Someday, we WILL get back to this level of bipartisan respect. It’s what made America great

At presidential events the Obama family  and the Bush family sit next to each other. They get along.
They obviously did not always agree on policy but not one of them was actively trying to destroy democracy and this country like trump is trying to do.

Look what happened in a very short time because of 1 particular individual and the ‘clan’ he built that ruined the world we live in today!  This won’t be fixed for many years if it can be fixed!

The most popular figure of the Democratic Party and 2028 Presidential hopeful AOC, a self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist, and the modern Democratic hold anti-American sentiments like this. They do not hide it, and yet half of America does not care. It begs the question, “Why does the Democratic Party want to destroy America?” Let’s take a look at one of the reasons why: Globalization.

We are left with two unfortunate motives. Either the Democratic Party means well and they are stupid or they know exactly what they are doing (as the quote earlier from AOC suggests) and they want to destroy America.

Following President Donald Trump's State of the Union address in February 2020, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tore up her copy of the speech, sparking accusations that she had broken the law. Trump himself weighed in, telling reporters, First of all, it's an official document. You're not allowed—it's illegal what she did. She broke the law. This claim was echoed by conservative pundits and lawmakers, including Rep. Matt Gaetz, who filed an ethics complaint against Pelosi, citing a potential violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2071, which pertains to the protection of government property and public records. However, legal experts widely dismissed the notion that Pelosi had committed any crime, asserting that her copy of the speech was not an official government document and that she was well within her rights to destroy it.

&******and thats real respect right there
