For weeks now, Trump has been growing more and more desperate in his pronouncements that the United States completely controls the critical Strait of Hormuz, through which the majority of the world’s gas and oil must flow.
On August 10th, Trump declared: “The only one that has control of the Strait of Hormuz right now is the United States Navy.”
On August 11th: “We totally control the Strait of Hormuz. We have control over it. Nobody else — only us.”
August 14: “In the true sense, we own the Hormuz Strait, and we only allow boats to come in if we want them to come in.”
August 17: “We have total control over the Strait… The Strait is open.”
August 21: “We have total control of that entire region having to do with the Strait of Hormuz.”
August 27: “The Strait of Hormuz is open. We have control, and we have the blockade.
But a group of brave Iranians have pulled a public stunt to mock Trump’s claims and prove that this is 100% not the case.
New footage from the Strait shows a group of brave Iranians cruising around the Strait in motorboats, waving the Iranian flag and thumbing their noses at Trump.
Everyone knows that Trump grows more and more exaggerated the more desperately he’s trying to push a lie – and he really, really, really needs the world to believe this lie.
With the Strait in Iranian hands, no more oil is on its way to America and its millions of gas-guzzling F150 drivers.
Once again, Trump’s pronouncements have been exposed as nothing but a bunch of lies by a pathetic, insecure warmonger who can’t bear to reckon with the consequences of his idiotic decisions.
