Donald Trump’s efforts to give himself and his terrorist minions a huge taxpayer-funded payday have gone up in smoke, as a judge has decisively shut down the “settlement” that Trump’s DOJ goons negotiated with Trump’s legal team – and the judge didn’t hold back.
"The court finds that this matter was brought for an improper purpose—to gain the imprimatur of judicial legitimacy for a 'settlement' that had no viable basis in law or fact"
“The extraordinary award fashioned by the parties for claims that were never litigated, and have yet to be defined, on behalf of unidentified third parties whose future remedies bear no relationship to the claims in this case."
To make matters worse, the judge pointed out that Todd Blanche’s foolish comments made it clear that the two sides were in cahoots, writing that he "demonstrates his confidence that he could speak for, and bind, both sides of this matter. This certitude supports the conclusion that the Parties worked in tandem and were never actually adverse."
The cherry on the cake is Scott McFarlane’s comment that the judge “opens the door to bar hearings and financial penalties against Trump's lawyers!”
Sue them into oblivion! This slush fund settlement was one of the most flagrant acts of naked embezzlement in world history in order to reward a group of terrorists who attempted to overthrow our democracy.
They should all be prosecuted and put in jail for simply PROPOSING the idea, let alone trying to make it a reality!
