Meadowlands Fan Appreciation Night
« on: December 26, 2024, 02:57:03 PM »
On Saturday (Dec. 28), head to The Meadowlands for Fan Appreciation Night.

“We’d like to thank our fans for a fantastic year,” said track Chief Operating Officer and General Mager Jason Settlemoir. “And while we are extremely appreciative of our CAW players like Elite Turf Club who bet us on the various simulcast networks, we like letting our 200 on-track fans know that we love it when they are inside the building."

There will be discounted concessions offered from 6-11 p.m. that night. For just $1 in the Cafe, one can purchase hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn and soda.

Bud and Bud Light draft, also available at the Café, will be just $2.

  • Calhoun: IDK about offshore booking wagers on $4.5k tri pools. I doubt it but IDK. It's possible.   As an aside, Jimenez won a Grade 1 on the great Knicks Go.

  • Trigger: Very good analysis Calhoun, moreso from my perspective that Albin Jimenez was suspended and the #2 ride was really suspicious and overooked.  Is it possible that there is action equal to far greater outside mutual pools worldwide?

  • Calhoun: That tri pool was $4500. Net of takeout $3300.  Out of 60 possible outcomes, the result was  5th most likely out of 60 (using win odds to calc). Paid 14 to 1. Doesn't seem awful. It also would have been bet pretty good by the genpop. Maybe rigged for the 3 to win but the tri? I think not too likely.

  • Trigger: The race that everyone is talking about where Jimenez #1 stiffs his horse to finish behind the #3 his gf, but no one mentions the #2 (Lebron) and how he stiffed to be behind Jimenez.  To set up the 312 tri watch the stretch. [link]

  • Trigger: Cheating Woodbine Mohawk Park Executives, AGCO, Horseman and Insiders, Canada's AG is going to get an earful.  If he turns a blind eye, he'll deal with the public fallout!   96z.p
