Mohawk Saturday

Race#4-#6 MCPLEASANT 7-2 ML He’s got a habit of getting too far back to make it up late. Not a race with lots of gate speed, expect Jamieson to at least leave for position. This guy has burned up lots of money recently, should be higher odds tonight.

Race#6-#4 BATTERUP HANOVER 4-1 ML Been impressive in his first two starts in Ontario, although they’ve been at Flamboro. Steps up in class tonight, maintains Ryan who will pump the odds up, this guy is better coming from behind, if he’s used hard early he will fold late.

Race#8-#1 IVY PARK 9-2 ML got a week off after being tortured two starts back. Draws inside is advantageous but driver change negates that positive. He got the speed to go with these, week off should help.

Race#9-#6  STONE CARVER 3-1 ML Looked great last week, was flying in the stretch. I’d expect him to leave tonight & sit garden trip behind #8 who will go off below even money.

Race#10-#10 OVERTHINKING 7-2 ML Hoping he goes off higher then ml assessment. He hasn’t done much since coming up North, fully expect Henry to try to go gate to wire tonight!

Best of luck!  tmbz1

  • Sweet: Please Lord, give PurpleSheetPicks FIXED ODDS at every track and every ADW he could wager with, he'll prove he's right.  Racing will be saved, a tsunami of gamblers will show back up, drugs, cheating, animal abuse will stop, real regulatory and enforcement will engage.  There'll be world peace, and he'll stop whining and crying!  Amen!  ;D

  • Sweet: The fact of the matter is the win pool on Beau Jangles was I believe a negative pool,  his real odds not 1/9 but 1/99.  Enough already, we're the real patrons of thius F'ing sport, many of us also care for these animals despite the best don't want drugs and whipping, abuse.  Competition yes!

  • Lockedin with Pace: Robust Hanover was a very small horse driven by William O'Donnell. In fact the late Stan Bergstein used to refer to him as the "little peanut".
