in this business if you dont cheat  what do you get? 7th,8th, and 9th place doesnt pay the bills. there isnt 5 guys who train horses who dont try to get an edge. whether it be vet work. therapeutic work. or running a tube  or sticking a needle in their veins. so what are these people suppose to do?
one trainer has a monopoly basically and has 15 horses for each class and jet fuel to boot.

so tell us what how do you make a living without bending the rules?
i can tell you what its not/  its not hay oats and water.

I agree with Jenny - there are NO hay n oats trainers in the top 20 on the UDRS or money.  Any top trainer at the track of your choice is bending the rules as far as possible.  You think Virgil Morgan wins 25 trainers titles in a row because he has a better system?  ngc3 His system is have Woodlun Run come in on race day and treat them up.

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.
