SMOKING  PLENTY LEFT  DAMN

Will wind up as a Sire in Sweden when he is done.   Blue/Blue Bred...Walner out of a Hambo Oaks Elimination winning Dam with 1:52.2 record when that was not as easy as today.

Now they are starting to give him the race records that he needs.  Yes, he was impressive.  Nancy has been spending too much time at the buffet tables lately and the Burke barn is starting to heat up; could lead to some overlays in the coming weeks on "no-name" horses in big races.

This horse could easily break all records. He has size to him and his gate is Flawless. The owners have had some great horses and are well-respected in the industry. HE WILL BE A VERY ATTRACTIVE SIRE HERE IN THE STATES.A son of Walner with great breeding on the dam side too. I'm sure they've already received many calls

Not sure if they will stand him here or overseas... note ownership and what business they are in.

The owners are:
Lindy Farms Of Conn, Enfield, CT-Robert A Rudolph, Vineland, NJ

Lindy Farms bought the horse at Harrisburg for $200,000. Looks like a steal. They have a history of owning some great trotters and standing them in the States. They also owned Money Maker. I believe they also had Crazed and I know that had International Man. NY and PA

Yes, the Antonacci family the force behind Lindy's Farms, owned Moni Maker and International Moni among many many others dating back to Lindy's Pride.  They bought the Red Mile along with George Segal (Brittany Farms) and Winbak Farms back in 2000.

This horse will stand in the states most likely and I'm going to go out on a big limb here and predict that when the time comes, The Antonacci's will be a partner in whoever ends up with the Meadowlands.  The Red Mile is run by Lexington Trots Breeders Association with Segal as the listed contact, and it will take another Breeders Association with unlimited pockets to save the Meadowlands.  Lindy is based in Connecticut, and although they have a new Kentucky Farm it seems logical they would want to be involved in saving the "Mecca"

I wonder if Gural has any arrangements in place pending him not being able to operate the Meadowlands.  I would expect so.

Their son Phillip has a thoroughbred stable which he started with Jimmy Takter four or five years ago.  He won his first two races at Saratoga but its minor leagues compared to their Harness Interests.  Takter is just an "advisor" there now but I'm sure his involvement with them led them to give Winner's Bet to Nancy from their own stable and trainer.  Pretty good decision based on the last two races.  tmbz1

This and the fact that Yimmy has trained for them for years. Including the great Moni Maker
