2 Riversathome - got away 4th, slid up the rail,
3 Muscles Aplenty - in from Clinton, back on lasix today
4 Kilmartin Dreamer - in from Hiawatha, this mare is camera shy but likes to pick up 2nd & 3rd cheques.
5 Playfull Elegance - From 5th to 1st was trotting well in the stretch
Race No 2
1 Write About Now - Going for 5 in a row after winning easy last week in the Mark Austin Final in wire to wire fashion
2 Raw Power - in from Hiawatha, from a big effort parked 3 wide 1st turn and still went wire to wire with broken equipment (looked like headpole on the right side
was out of place).
3 Psycho Path - Left hard and was parked 3 wide 1st turn, had to back into the 3 hole, took a shuffle as pocket sitter faded, got out but was empty in the stretch
4 Lilly Clare - 1st start in 25 days
5 Money on the Beach - 1 hole left enough to get the pocket, gapped a bit by 3/4s in the pocket, but came on in the stretch but did not have enough to get the
winner had to settle for 2nd nice drive by young driver.
6 No Place to Hide - attempted a leave under urging but was parked 1st turn, raced 3rd over whole mile... faded as expected.
