Grace Hill
« on: September 17, 2023, 12:46:22 AM »
Congrats to Grace Hill and Virgil Morgan on a great return tonight at Mohawk - dazzling 1.48! Virgil Morgan - something like $75 million in purses, 2nd all time in wins by a trainer, first trainer to win 5,000 races and of course the politicized assholes at Goshen and the USTA will keep him out of the HOF!

Why would they keep him out of the HOF?

Virgil is good people, and one of the hardest working people in the business. Made the bulk of his money in Ohio when Ohio had no  purse structure worth while. Much better trainer than Burke dollar for dollar. If had Burkes opportunities he would have long surpassed $300.0 M

Well they have done it to Brett Pelling for years and he shoulda been in looooong ago. greatest trainer of pacers ever. see Tony Morgan with 17000 plus victories.   yet, Chris Boring and Billy popfinger are in. Fine horseman, some great moments.. true HOFers?? - not really.

We all know that the USTA is a "good old boys " club. When it comes to a distinction   like the HOF,it's not who you know, but who you blow!

Right. I don't care if her owner is Adolf Hitler. I am interested in horses and trainers.
