Horsemen who have 1 or more horses sired by Dancin' Yankee, what is your thoughts on them so far?

Given a free breeding but may look elsewhere & pass it on to someone who will use it.
We don't need to race, we do it for the love of horses & because we can. Great game if you have the means.
*3 y.o colt & filly have been top3 in their sire stake
*The 2 y.o's have shown a ton of talent & 1 just missed a sire stake win

decent race horse
had one big year at the age of 6
raced until age 11
he is not a sire
free is still too expensive

The horse was a super tough and durable race horse but, Ohio has become to tough not to breed to something more relevant and with  great 2 year old speed .

Definitely under performed at the sales, seemed like many stayed away due to the lack of 2 yr old speed. This despite being some pretty nice individuals.

Theres better options in the price range though.

The biggest issue with him is you have to compete against all the big stables who are loaded with seasides this year.

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
