A while back, I posted about Greg Merton.
Where has he been? etc....
Was dominant at Plainridge, got a cup of coffee at Yonkers and Meadowlands when the regulars were off in the winter or out of town for stakes events and now?
He had 2 drives this past week. Monticello and Pocono. Had a few a couple weeks back at Tioga.
So, again I ask what’s up with him?
Very strange to go from a dominant driver at one track to a couple drives at multiple tracks.
I know an answer is coming of “who gives a shit?”, cause that’s the norm of this forum, but for those that do care, what gives?

got the cold shoulder at plainridge from owners, trainers and other drivers. that combined with the long trip he had to take to get there forced him to decide if it was worth it. marginally talented driver anyway won't be missed wherever he doesn't go.

His attitude is his worst enemy.
People get tired of being told that the horse they worked on all week is just a piece of shit and should be on an Amish truck. Even if it’s true, no one wants to deal with a rude ass getting off the bike.

Seems like Greg is doing more on the “trainjng” side of it than driving. Has a few horses in his name as trainer now.
