From Standardbred Canada:

The eight finalists were declared earlier today for Sunday’s $200,000 Prix D’Ete for four-year-old pacers at Hippodrome 3R, and the posts for the rich event were drawn earlier this evening.

Trainers Ron Burke and Richard Moreau, each have two horses from their stable entered in the big race. Burke has Filibuster Hanover and Eddard Hanover while Moreau has entered Modern Reflection and American Wiggle.

Also entered is Western Joe for trainer Chris Choate. He has won his last two starts including the $260,000 Sam McKee Memorial against the best pacers in North America and the prior week won at the Meadowlands in 1:47.3.

Since the Prix D’Ete’s revival at Hippodrome 3R four years ago, the race has been won twice by Ron Burke horses and twice by Jimmy Takter trainees.

Here's how the star-studded group will line-up behind the starting gate:

1. Eddard Hanover (Stephan Brosseau)
2. Beckhams Z Tam (Ricky Macomber)
3. Filibuster Hanover (Louis Philippe Roy)
4. American Wiggle (Louis Philippe Roy)
5. Blood Line (Trevor Henry)
6. Modern Reflection (Louis Philippe Roy)
7. Miso Fast (Daniel Dube)
8. Western Joe (Doug McNair)

Post time for Tuesday’s card is 6:30 p.m. and features five divisions for the second round of the Future Stars Series for two-year-old pacers.

Looks like another Burke win.
