I Voted for a Republican the Other Day
« on: Today at 11:15:08 AM »
We voted early on Monday and yes, we voted for a Republican!  I guess I should mention that it was for Town Supervisor and he ran virtually unopposed.  His only opponent was a second Republican who had already lost to the first one in the primary.  The second guy is a real dick and we wanted to make sure he didn't win.

Back to my favorite topic - trump.  This country has some serious problems and trump is talking about Niki Manaj's ass?  There is something seriously wrong with him. Yet, these 12 (15) misfit-nitwits still support him:

Andrew
Bello (maybe)
Mike Campbell
Donald Rocks
Dougie
G
JC Toronto
JT
Kenny
Kirby's Ace
Locked In with Pace
Lucpark
John Moody
Pine Hurst Pacer
Silver Charm

I think it was James Talarico who said it best: "the only minority destroying America is the billionaires."  They already have most of the money and now they want all of the power so that they can keep and add to most of the money.  Why do you think Musk has contributed at least $442 MILLION to Republicans overall and at least $168 MILLION to Ken Paxton?

Why do you think many billionaires and billion/trillion dollar companies have contributed many millions to trumps white house ballroom?  Is it to curry favor with trump going forward?
Why do you think many/most republican politicians support GIANT data centers?  Could it be to curry favor from their tech-bro friends?

Last but not least, let's take a look Ramaswamy who has run that despicable ad against a child sex abuse victim.  Do you know how he made his first billion?  He bought a drug in development to treat Alzheimer’s disease that had repeatedly failed in clinical trials.

Initially developed by Glaxo Smith Kline, the drug Intepirdine was acquired by Ramaswamy’s Axovant Science from GSK in December 2014 for $5 million.  Then he and his mother (yes, mother!) improperly manipulated the data from past clinical trials.  Axovant then had an IPO that raised $1.2 billion.  After another failed clinical trial, Axovant stock tanked (70% in one day!) but by then, Ramaswamy and his family had already cashed in and made millions.

Investors like the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio lost two thirds of their investment. To some people, this looked like a classic "Pump and Dump" scheme.  However,
with the appropriate assistance of the Trump administration and the FDA, Ramaswamy and his  mother successfully evaded criminal charges. Just another example of how
billionaires are destroying the country.  And he wants to be a senator from Ohio?  Thank you for your attention to this matter!
