NFL Best bet of year.
« on: December 23, 2025, 02:22:58 PM »
Futures have 49ers at $1 to make $1.80 to win NFC West division.
They have 2 remaining games @ home against Carolina and Seattle. They have the tie breaker vs Seattle.

Other futures SF to win NFC championship =  6-1
Super Bowl SF = 12-1

Except that Seattle currently has a 1 game lead in the West and the 49ers final 2 home games are against Chicago & Seattle and they easily could lose 1 or both of those games?                     (Carolina plays Seattle this weekend)

Like I said the TIE BREAKER goes to SF with 2 home games left ( Bears and Seahawks )

Seattle have 2 away games left ( Car and SF ) Both teams are on a 5 game winning streak.

Purdy is a class act and McCaffrey runs wild. Could be Super Bowl material.

Not too late to place those bets on SF.
Latest odds
 NFC Championship winner = 4-1
Super bowl winner              = 8.5-1

Home Field still means something in football. I have no idea why analysts keep bragging up the Bills? They have zero defense & zero chance of winning three road playoff games to get into the postseason.

Rams have to do same. Only four teams have done that.

STEELERS 2005
NYG         2007

  • dougie: IIB, I think the mayor will sign the bill if it reaches his desk. The optics on this issue is bad for the horse carriage industry. Animal activists are adept to using the media to enlist horror and anger by the public.

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: It's now a bill with city council. Public hearings will be scheduled then the council votes on it. If passed it's sent to the Mayor to sign into law. He has already said he's in. Marte just took over, Bob Holden is the actual author of the bill who retired last year.

  • dougie: IIB, I have been reading some of the work Councilman Marte has been doing on this issue. I think he might be successful with passing the 'Ryders Law" Bill this time around. The image of the horse dead on the street has even been seen here everywhere. If the animal activists can get this on the ballot, who knows how the vote will go.
