Calhoun bested my handicapping, in the 6th his one selection finished 2nd, my 2 selections one fished 3rd.  We didn't win the Melbourne Cup but I tried with 5 horses and didn't even see one hit 4th.

The Brisnet pps sucked, missing all kinds of info.

I wish the American tracks would use the same style of Starting Gate that's used "down under!" The elimination of the gate assistant holding the horses head until the gate opens is long over due imo! It only takes 1 or 2 assistants to release the horses head for a single second to change the outcome.
