What a time to turn on the Jug Broadcast
« on: September 16, 2025, 02:40:08 PM »
Jason suckass Settlemoire says "lets give a standing ovation, a BIG ROUND of Applause for the Birthday Boy "The Voice Roger Huston"

and NOT a PEEP from the crowd, ZIP. NOTHING.......... ......sometimes Silence is a Beautiful thing............ ............
Just love doing the broadcast. Shuley, Chumlee, Paddock have gotten used to the holier than thou attitude. We only work on the show, because we get paid. Dealing with Ringo is a different story.

That really was embarrassing the way he tried to suck up to a washed-up old man like Roger. The best thing that could happen on Jug Week is to get rid of both Roger and lapdog Settlemoir, unfortunately it won't happen.

When you're watching the races is there any track. that you can't watches the races because of the announcer roger Houston I won't bet because of him. finger lakes that guys horrible he sounds like he's eating a sub. I won't wager at that because of him. Tioga shades is awful wont wager plus there no money in the pool wonder why.

Wouldn't matter who the announcer was at Tioga because there's rarely any money in the pools. When Roger's announcing I watch the race without the sound.

Big hotshot leading driver POS Merriman has jumped at least three today and is pretty
much a non factor up there. Better go drink a twelver and ease his pain. On another note:
Not too many holes being given, such a difference from most all commercial tracks.

Sam McKee used to be the assistant announcer for years and was outstanding. Had he not passed away, he might be the full time announcer there now. After Sam passed, Steve Cross was the assistant for a few years. He wasn't awful. Now it's that weasel Settlemoir who probably needs a truckload of chapstick for all the asses he's kissed over the years. I hope he doesn't take over full time when Roger is gone. Bitter Truth is spot on about Merriman. He never does shit at Delaware, even having live drives. Rarely wins at Scioto either.

The whole broadcast is like it was put together by the High School A-V club. The cut-always are chaotic and jumbled along with the announcing. You’d think OHHA would get someone who could add some polish to the broadcast.

Roger drove thousands away from harness racing , I know so many regulars that quit because of him , and as much of a blowhard he is , he is even a worse person

JS is a huge kiss ass and yes man.  Gural will probably be pissed Jason was kissing someone’s ass other than his.  I love Jug week but the broadcast from personalities to announcers needs a complete rebuild.
