Does anyone remember a parlay bet that NYRA offered, probably in the 80s, where you could link two or more win, or WP, or WPS bets? If several of your selections clicked, a small investment could garner a healthy return! Thanks in advance.
My guess is you're referring to the "Grand Slam" wager.

There are 4 legs.

In legs 1,2 and 3 your election has to run 3rd or better.

In leg 4, your selection must win.

They still have the wager.

The answer was excellent, yes, for sure!

But the interpretation of the plopper's plop to the answer was remarkable!   62za.clp

Thanks for exposing a bet I made quite frequently.
Matter of fac. Went SATURDAY to HOFFMAN EASTATES OTB. Went to the young kid. Said: Give me the 7th at BELMONT. $1.00 part wheel GRAND SLAM. He goes punchin sumthin in. The 9 is out. That the second leg. He goes you want a super instead. Tommy who I know slides over and instructs the new kid on the bet I'M makin. He finds it and then starts over. Wen done he apoligizes to me. I say's don't worry. I'm most likley the only one makin that bet here in last year. I bet $24.00,got back,$28.60 only because I hit the bet one sraight. Hopin to at least hit 4.
