USTA take note! A leader has risen.
« on: March 01, 2025, 07:22:35 PM »
Dear USTA when are you going to take responsibility for standardbred racing in general.

Did you not learn anything from President Trump yesterday after he handed Zelenskyy his ass on a silver platter and then threw his ass out of the White House!

When are you going to start steering the ship and get rid of the scum in the business? The ship is sinking fast and good people are bailing out.
Not to be confused with HAKU.

Boy are you confused. The USTA is a record keeping organization. Thats it!

Here are they're guidelines:

"Our mission is to:
License owners, trainers, drivers and officials.
Formulate the rules of racing.
Maintain and disseminate racing information and records.
Serve as the registry for the Standardbred breed.
Endeavor to ensure the integrity of harness racing.
Insist on the humane treatment of Standardbreds.
Promote the sport of harness racing and the Standardbred breed."

As you can see all they do is formulate the rules! Thats it! It's the racing commissions job to enforce them.

All the USTA does is keep track of the racing information and records!

Hey but keep sending them your money every year!

The USTA has long "assumed" and portrayed a role that they simply do not have. They don't have the authority to do so, don't have the qualifications to do so, nor do they have the capability of doing so. Similar to Shopping Cart Mike, LOL. Seriously, it only benefits them to assume more power and stature than they actually have, and even more, if they can convince others of the same thing.

The USTA is no different than The Jockey Club or AQHA. Because each state must pass laws to allow betting on horse racing they control the rules in their state. Maybe not the best set up do to conflicting rules from state to state. Interestingly when they allowed sports wagers they did not put a similar safeguard in place. With all the betting scandals going on in sports wagering, look for something similar to HISA to emerge in the near future. Then the NFL,NBA,MLB…etc will all be in the same position as USTA. Right now who is responsible for making sure that there are not cheating in human sports?? The team owners who get a share of wagering revenue?
