ageless.....13 years old ripping off a track record 1:52.1 mile at Rosecroft

Old bones but the trainer and owner have really looked after him. Racing at high level conditioned or open type trots whether it be Harrington, Rosecroft or Chester. This isnt like former champs Vivid Photo or currently Dealt A Winner racing poorly in cheap races at advanced ages. I believe some of his earnings get donated to charitable causes and he is closing in on another 100K season

Hope harness racing does something special to promote him at age 14. I believe the first trotter to go sub 150 and did he win like 17 races in a row or something like that his 4 year old season en route to a Dan Pactch award in 2015. Amazing career and too bad he had a couple of nagging injuries after that 4 year old season that kept him from hitting on all cylinders. You want to talk about all time durable war horse trotters. I would say he may have to top the list.

It's nice to see the old guy still racing and winning. And seems he is with great connections who will take care of him.

Jl Cruze's winnings have built many water wells in some African towns that never had clean drinking water before. The owner is an 83 year old well driller that has donated the time and money that saves lives. many lives.
This is a story that needs to be told on a national level .

100% agreed. We need feel-good stories like this in the industry now more than ever, for sure.
