Maine Steaks
« on: September 17, 2024, 07:26:06 PM »
Going for $19,000 and change with only 5 or 6 starters.  That seems like a lot of money for the stock they are running.  PA and NY not running for a huge amount more, at least in lower levels.

Steaks or Stakes. Are you going to eat a horse? Steaks. WTF. Did you graduate grammer school?

Grammer?  ngc3  Must be a newbie.  Everyone on here knows we talk about racing steaks not stakes.  Get with the program.

It's down to Cumberland and Freyburg fairs remaining, as we get ready for that long winter. LOL! Both fairs are well intended and the grandstand is packed for racing. I don't like the fact that horses are races more than once weekly and I have voiced my opposition to it. I understand that there are very few chances for horseman here to grab any purse money racing in Maine. But I strongly oppose horses racing more than once a week.
