Any Truth A Horse Was Put Down In Buffalo.....
« on: March 07, 2024, 08:25:08 PM »
Due to horrible track conditions? And they would not allow a trainer to scratch their horse because they had already post paraded, but the track was terrible? Just got a message. Saw one DNF in the first yesterday. Also saying they only scrape the track four deep.
If you've got a problem with me, you're GUILTY.

There was a delay for track maintenance and now that you mention it, the outer horses seemed to be leaving from 2nd tier-like positions.
Ducking really early which I view to be a violation.

I was sent two pics from on the track itself, I don't blame them.

The real story is they cut the track open before the card and got nailed with a downpour. Tried racing the first on it without scraping it and horse broke a leg. No excuse. That's on the track.

Not to make light of a dead horse. But. In 30 years of training horses I’ve never had a judge tell me I couldn’t scratch. Also if the track was that bad WTF are the drivers thinking going 28 to the 1/4 at buffalo????

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.
