Del, nothing I have said isn't the total truth. I like Mickey J, great guy. What I am saying he has NO control over anything without the ok from Ronnie. He does NOT own any part of the Burke Stables, he is an employee, as he was when he ran the bagel store in Columbus. When that died he came back home to the barn. That is a FACT!!!  He knows where his home is, if he were on his own he wouldn't last 6 mo. he's not really business savvy. HE IS, the dullest knife in the Burke family, also one of the nicest, ask anyone who knows the family.

so basically ron burke is a con artist. he has the gift to bullshit. he arm and hammered his way to win a few races. bullshitted his way into pockets of some people with money.  now he has the money behind him to buy whatever he wants. he is able to give an extra 1,000 or 5,000 that an honest trainer may not be able to. and if they dont work out so be it they have 500 other horses or buy a new one. when you have as many horses as burkes do they are going to win a ton of races. its the law of averages. he has the most horses he better win the most races.
i think if you gave burkes stock to other trainers in the country alot would  win more.

Wondering if they let him keep the 5% trainer bonus ..... I know of one instance where the paper trainer got 1% and the regular trainer took 4%
