OSRC 3769-18-01-B 91,10,13,15,16), 18-02, 17-43. Urine sample #906124 was tested by
the Ohio Dept. of Agriculture ATL and found to contain 3-METHOXYTYRAMINE (3-MY), a
Class 2 drug, at a concentration level of 5.5 mcg/mi of urine. This exceeds the Regulatory
Threshold of 4.0 mcg./ml, adopted by the OSRC for 3-MT. Sample #906124 was collected
from #6 Ron`s EOM, WHO FINISHED 1ST in race 15 on 7/30/22 at Scioto Downs and was
trained by Mr. Barker. Thus, #6 is disqualified and placed 8th, the purse ($9,000) is ordered
returned and redistributed, Mr. Barker is fined $1000, given a full one year suspension
(09/06/2022-09/05/2023) and referred to the OSRC for any further recommendations.
During his suspension, Mr. Barker is denied the use and privileges of all grounds
sanctioned by the OSRC. All horses owned and/or trained by Mr. Barker may only be
transferred by the judges at Scioto Downs or OSRC. The fine and purse must be returned
within 10 days of this ruling. Mr. Barker has 48 hours to ap
Status as of 11/9/2022 - Subsequent Ruling - Mr. Barker's suspension, fine and
disqualification in ruling 22-SCD-102 is hereby rescinded. The split sample that Mr.
Barker requested came back negative for 3-MT.
