I checked its pedigree on the mother's side and it's all pacing blood all the way back. Not one trotter

They are running a bunch of 100,000 races. Most of them were 200,000 last year but they felt the pinch with COVID etc as they were locked down for the longest time.

So far there have been 4 races. three winners by Bettor's delight and the trotter out of ba Bettor's delight mare and of course Hayden Cullen won two with Natalie Rassmussen driving one and Mark Purdon driving. I guess those two while they gave up training horses, now just drive in all the feature races.

All the races are over 1 mile (5/8th track) but the weather is cold with rain and so the fastest mile so far is 1.52 5/10ths

Here's a replay of this Captain Treacherous filly (DOUBLE DELIGHT) who won and she beat the best 2yo in NZ in Highgrove who broke when leading. I didn't realize these were colts and fillies in here

if you watch the race
What did you notice
Did you see them lined up at the eighth pole getting holes
Did you see horses closing.
We’re you interested in seeing the end of the race.

Ahh when American racing use to be fun to watch

Re: Check out this 2yo named Akuta blazing speed wins by 10

Holy Fuck, they said this 2yo colt was good. He came 6 wide around the turn and blew the doors off the best 2yo in the country.

The announcer got his name wrong as they entered the stretch. His name is Akuta, Another Bettor's Delight.

Purdon nearly lost him at the start when he paced roughly and had to go back to last.  A great turn of speed and he is apparently faster than Lazarus was according to my buddy who spoke to Purdon about him. Said he was the best young horse he has sat behind.
