If you just considered the actual driving time in each race that they entered (even if they came in last I used  2 Mins for calculating) and divided their share of the purse money won to this date in 2020 by the hours racing, this is what their pay would be per hour:
B Sears      $16585 / Hr
Y Gingras   $ 11975/ Hr
D Dunn      $   9627/  Hr
D Miller      $    9502/ Hr
R Zeron      $    7366/ Hr
T Tetrick     $   6584/ Hr
J Bongiorno  $   4877 / HR
G Brennan    $   3632  / HR
G Nap        $   3023 / Hr

Not bad pay but I hope when they win some of the bigger stakes races the owners and/or trainers give them a good bonus/tip so they can keep bread on the table?

I used to get home around midnight after driving the evening card then get up at 5 to go the the barn to do training miles for various trainers. As deracing fan said, we also do qualifiers and warmups etc at no charge. Theres also travel time, time away from home and family, constant injuries, etc etc. Its not as easy or profitable as it looks

O K Guys, remember I said "Fun" Facts. Like "Fake News". I am not good at math and almost flunked the subject in high school. Certainly wouldn't be hired to do the recounts for the 2020 Elections. But I am not including qualifiers or anything else. I certainly know there is more to the profession. Most of these guys also train and get additional money for that. Not sure how much they get a day per horse now, even thirty years ago it seemed expensive.  Here are the "FUN" Facts for ten (10) Minutes behind the horse per race per hour totals:
