I just thank God that they didn't decide to put the other idiot (Brett the screamer) from Tioga there.
He just seemed to vanish?

I've watched and bet on the Meadowlands since 1979 so I've seen a few things there.
It's hard to believe that they hire a clown like this "Shades" kid.
He has no insight at all. He seems like he has never seen a harness race before.
We understand that the money is being made downstairs in the sports book, but to retain a modicum of decency and respectability, at least put up guys on the screen who know something and don't look like a kiddie circus sideshow...

Putting him on is an example of throwing a load of crap at a wall and seeing what sticks!  It is a futile attempt to appeal to a younger crowd, but that crowd is in the sportsbook.  They're sure as hell not betting on harness racing, with college football and basketball going on.
The only positive for Jeff and Jason is the kid is per diem and he works cheap.

If by "per diem", you mean some chicken nuggets and a small fry, then I understand. Anything more than that, and he is overpaid.
