As a millennial, and knowing millennials, this is a fucking genius idea to target new, younger fans.

Racetracks dont have clean bathrooms or edible food, but lets spend millions to put in a moving Grandstand.

Same. This is a REALLY cool idea. Don't know how much I'd love it as a bettor but the party types would love this.

Hey kid if you want to go on a ride go to the fucking amusement park.

Bashing an idea that might actually get people interested in coming to the racetrack? Nice. Speed is the most thrilling aspect of the game. If you can give that experience, and it's not something you can do at home or on the phone, it's priceless.

Seems like the geriatric crowd hates it but the younger posters on the board think it's a good idea. Just in case you wonder why racing is so dead, this illustrates it nicely.

  • Calhoun: IDK about offshore booking wagers on $4.5k tri pools. I doubt it but IDK. It's possible.   As an aside, Jimenez won a Grade 1 on the great Knicks Go.

  • Trigger: Very good analysis Calhoun, moreso from my perspective that Albin Jimenez was suspended and the #2 ride was really suspicious and overooked.  Is it possible that there is action equal to far greater outside mutual pools worldwide?

  • Calhoun: That tri pool was $4500. Net of takeout $3300.  Out of 60 possible outcomes, the result was  5th most likely out of 60 (using win odds to calc). Paid 14 to 1. Doesn't seem awful. It also would have been bet pretty good by the genpop. Maybe rigged for the 3 to win but the tri? I think not too likely.

  • Trigger: The race that everyone is talking about where Jimenez #1 stiffs his horse to finish behind the #3 his gf, but no one mentions the #2 (Lebron) and how he stiffed to be behind Jimenez.  To set up the 312 tri watch the stretch. [link]
