Just watched the Goldsmith Maid. As soon as Takter finally tucked in but could barely keep the filly trotting, I sensed trouble. Sure enough, pulled right in the path of a hard-charging contender, costing that one five lengths, plus momentum.
Judges should call him in.
And, no, I did not bet the race.

Next year's Hambo fav looked pretty good again. VOLUME EIGHT made it look easy.

She is a joke. Goes out to the winner's circle after Zanatta and instead of doing anything post-race with the equipment opts to only kiss the horse. And after listening to the interview she sounds like she doesn't know too much about the horse.

😂 when i saw her kissing the horse i was thinking the same thing..who's a better trainer Jenn Bong or Jack Darling? Does she even own a set of colors or know how to use a pitch fork ?

Please don't spoil Jeffy's theories with facts. I'm sure the horse just has eczema. What else would that be used for? Would someone that honest be trying to get an edge?

Horrible drive in race 13. He could have been out behind dueling leaders but must have thought his 3rd on the rail trip was better. Shit for brains or not trying to win.
You can say the same for Dave Miller's drive on Friday night in race 9. He was 3rd on the rail and the pocket horse couldn't keep up and was at least 4 lengths behind. Can somebody ask Dave why he didn't feel the need to pull.
