Post by: Sweet Louis on September 03, 2022, 10:46:22 PM
46.4 at Woodbine is almost off the charts...this horse just continues to roll....he's having 1 of the greatest years we've ever seen from a horse and it's not over yet...just hopefully he stays healthy

ONE IS TRULY A GREAT ANIMAL, MAYBE THE SPORTS GREATEST EVER

THE OTHER IS A GLORIFIED 'OPEN/INVITE' TYPE THAT MOST OF YOU YANKS WOULD RATHER OWN, WHO IS RACING LIGHTS OUT AS A SEVEN YEAR OLD

THE INDUSTRY OWES US CANUCKS A BIG DEBT OF GRATITUDE
FOR PROVIDING THE SPORT SOME OF THE BEST IN RACING TODAY

YOU YANKS CAN BE THANKED FOR FILLING FIELDS AND GIVING US THE ALSO RANS IN BIG RACES

SEE YALL YANKS AT THE JUG, DID I EVER TELL THE STORY THAT I WAS IN THE JUG BARN DURING YOGURT GATE STANDING NEXT TO A GUY WEARING A HORSEPLOP HAT?

SURPRISED THAT SPECIAL COMMITIEE FORMED TO LOOK INTO YOGURT GATE HASNT CALLED ME TO TESTIFY. ME AND THE BOY HAVE THE EVENT ON CAMERA

Was D barn last week when he won his elimination. Thanks for playing.

I will take bad drive for $200.
Jimmy wasn't winning regardless of his trip, but D barn was not a factor.

Bulldog's run this year is the greatest in history.  He won't have the richest season, but speed wise, he's doing things so far above any other horse.  It's not just an eye opening mile now and then, it's every time he hits the track right now.  Anyone know if he's going to the Red Mile?

Bulldog trainer just cancelled visit to Ohio

Next start Hoosierpark at   Pacing derby

September 23

I think it’s the small tracks. Ohio

Needs a mile track

It’s terrible and ignorant that they didn’t have the vision for a mile track

For a small stable and basically buying yearlings for himself, Jack has certainly had a lot of good horses over the years. Probably one of the few trainers that actually comes ahead each year buying yearlings.  Has always done very well.

I've always thought that the run Sweet !ou made as a 5 yr old was one of the best I've seen...not only the times but that year of open pacers was loaded and he was putting them away with ease when Pierce took over...HOWEVER what Bulldog is doing is unreal...while the field of opens isn't that great It wouldn't matter he's just that good...as far as best ever thats hard to say because it takes more than 1 year to be able to get that label...1 of my favorites all time was CR Kay Suzie only lost 6 races and most of those were from offstride...when she stayed trotting she was close to unbeatable

SURE WISH THE DRIVER WOULD WORK A TRIP OFF COVER, HE DONT PROVE ANYTHING BY QUARTER MOVING TO THE FRONT DOWN A STRAIGHTAWAY

NEEDS TO PROVE HIMSELF ON ALL SIZE TRACKS, NOT JUST BIG OVALS JUST LIKE JAS*N NOT WINNING ON ANYTHING BUT HALF MILE, WHAM BAM IT IS OVER MILES

HE STILL DUCKS COMPETITION,I SEE HIM SKIPPING DAYTON AND ONLY GO AT RED MILE, WOULDBEEN, AND MEDOGLANS

PLUS, THIS IS THE WEAKEST GROUP OF FFA'S THERE HAS EVER BEEN

BORING TO SAY THE LEAST

What the fuck does that even mean...u realize how dumb that sounds...u have the best horse...u know u have the best horse so instead of putting him in the best position to win let me take a seat 5th or 6th and hope I get into traffic trouble...and wtf does he have to prove...hes shattering records no matter how weak the other horses are...u want him to sit 8th and come from off the pace to make u believe smh...the horse most likely races his best when put on the lead but let's not do what works let's sit 10th so some hobo isn't bored...that like getting in a car race qualifying 1st knowing you got the fastest car but let me start 20th so I gotta unnecessarily pass 19 others to win...lastly he ducks competition...he fucking beat everyone already and by alot...some of you fucks just don't fucking know when to shut up...who the fuck had he ducked from genius? Please tell me that

AS GOOD AS BULLDOG HANOVER IS, HE NEVER WAS AS GOOD AS BULLDOG ALMAHURST WAS, NOW THAT HORSE WAS A MONEY MAKING MACHINE!. WHEN HIS STABLE HAD HIM ON GO, HE WAS A LAST TO FIRST TYPE IN A BLINK OF AN EYE.  FORGET THE DRIVER SEADOG OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. GUY LOOKED TERRIBLE IN THE BIKE, BUT I THINK THAT WAS PART OF THE PLAN.  WHEN IN A MUST GIVE TRI SUPER AND IN A RACE WITH STALBAUM, TIM AND TERRY BUTER EVEN MUGSY WAS OUTCLASSED

it's not that he did 1.46.3 unasked on a 57 degree night, it's just the way he did it

he could've gone much faster

he's doing what On The Road Again did in his prime, week in, week out, just wins off any trip easily

greatest of all time!

it was 25.3--just like two other horses in the race

Rockyroad came home 25.2

you stare at the clock instead of watching races--you are a joke

does the fact that 4 horses came home in 25.3 or less on a straightaway impress you?
Hey banana, does it matter if he shot up the inside instead of swinging to the outside? What i forgot about this game you'll never learn puttz!

Just watching the animal race, the power that he shows and the speed he has, it just impressive.
Dunn looks so comfortable in the bike.
He is blowing out fields with unreal speed.
Forget who he is racing against, just watch how he does it.
Most impressive pacer I have ever seen in the 30 years following harness racing.

You can't forget who he is racing against. That's what it's all about. No knock on the horse but it sounds like Its Fritz 39 years later.

Your point is?  The overall competition he is facing in the open ranks is subpar to past years when other champions raced. I'd like to know how you come to that conclusion.

I was just commenting on the guy saying that it doesn't matter who he is racing against. I wasn't comparing Bulldog to Its Fritz. It's the feedback that is the same. Everybody back then was saying Its Fritz was the greatest until he faced and lost to Cam Fella. Bulldog is the best now but it's a small body of work. I'm impressed and I hope he continues. It's good for the sport.

This horse might be the best one I have seen in my lifetime. I'm really looking forward to him being in Lexington..you'd have to think he could graze 44 and a piece if he stays this good. I know tonight's time wasn't blindingly fast, but Dayton is not a fast track and his trip was not exactly garden.

Unreal how easy he made that trip look.  He was in a different gear in the lane.  Everyone else looked to be in reverse.  Dunn was so calm in the bike.  Was never worried and made sure he was in a good spot.
