After the 9th race at Pompano, Prewett says "we're going to rapid fire this pick-3. All other North American tracks have finished. That was at 11:03 EST. Of course, the 11th race takes forever to start, then they have a tote delay. It is 11:42 and still no prices and still another race to run. A bunch of Uncle Joes who are moving kind of slow at harness race tracks. And, yes, I know, no one cares.

Prewett just said the problem is at the hub, not at Pompano, and affects all of North America. This is 35 minutes after he said they were going to rush through the final three races because every other North American track had finished. Meanwhile, Fraser Downs in Canada (when I went to school, Canada was part of North America) posted prices for its 6th race. Being retired, I might be the only person remaining awake whenever Pompano runs its final rapid-fire race.

Fraser Downs just ran and posted prices for its seventh race. Not a problem throughout North America.

Final update: 12:15 prices are posted. Zzzzzzz. Good night.

THEY SHOULD NEVER GIVE A POSITION OF IMPORTANCE TO A HILLBILLY LIKE PREWIT. HE IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE WHOLE INDUSTRY. HOPEFULLY WHEN THEY SHUT THE DUMP DOWN, IT LEAVES HIM UNEMPLOYED AND HE REMAINS THAT WAY
