If I owned horses I wouldnt give tim 7 percent. In fact I'd take a point off the normal 5 percent just for looking like alfred e Neuman. So I'd give him 4 % and a subscription to Mad.

You people are morons. It's TT and DD and then the rest. Tetrick and Dunn are so much better than the rest. To say Tetrick is overrated is just stupid. If he had all of Yannick's drives he'd have hit the 12k mark a while ago. Yannick is the most overrated out there. I do agree the whining wasn't necessary and made him look bad.
Agreed and I didn’t read it as complaining I read it as an explanation of what’s going on in todays racing. Hale mile tracks were always speed biased and some 5/8 but never were the mile tracks favored for speed. Today especially the “Little M” favors speed. Rarely do you see a horse winning from way back there but maybe my theory of it being short is the reason.

its not just the meadowlands where front end speed is holding more and more
it is everywhere, the horses near the front rarely tire off any kind of reasonable fractions
if the horses at or near the front can come home in 27 then it is going to be tough to make up 4 or 5 lengths
it is a real problem for the sport from a betting perspective as it easily can eliminate at least half the field from most races as a win candidiate
that is one of the reasons tbreds get so much more betting dollars, different distances and surfaces lead to more options for the handicappers to pick angles from
