sadly this is only 1 example and there are others. all the drugs are bad enough. kill one and it should be lifetime ban from racing.

He didn't kill by accident. He killed them for insurance money in terrible ways. It's a disgrace to let him back.

This man IMHO should NEVER in 1000years-be allowed in ANY way to participate in Horse racing.
The man is a CRIMINAL--SO HOW DOES HE GET AN OWNERS LICENCE??
"Chansky, alone or aided by others, killed nine racehorses by either placing a plastic sealed bag over the horse's head, thus causing suffocation; or by breaking the horse's neck and wedging it under the side of the barn; or by shooting the horse's heart with a bow and arrow, removing the arrow and then shoving a rake handle in the wound. Pursuant to the indictment, the foregoing violent acts were intended to give the appearance that the horses' deaths had been accidental or natural so Chansky could collect the insurance proceeds obtained on the basis of the inflated values".
THE FOLKS IN CHARGE AT NORTHFIELD PARK INCLUDING THE HORSEMEN-SHOULD NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN.

The son has the same name and hes probably using his name, the son is licensed til 12-30-20, with a different birth date, the father was denied on the USTA page, i dont know how he can be licensed when it sais denied, but i guess it's possible? either way, neither of them should be able to race , sick!

If so I googled richard chansky colonial downs and I got the july 2000 minutes from nj harness racing meeting including big chunk on incidents involving my chansky jr' horse CIVIL WARRIOR and Howard Parker...meeting talking about penalty mr chansky was to deal with after what appears to be using too small racebike to trip up his own horse in races after winning a race.. finshing up track a couple times w howard and smaller bike, before chansky got bigger bike and luc ouelette who won with him.
Chansky lawyer repped him..appeared parker didnt show.
Anyway..the sordid tale is in the notes should you google it.
