In the past when The Meadowlands raced at this time of year 1.6 million was a normal handle, and most years they don't race at this time of year, but this isn't a normal year with Covid-19.

Oversight at mohawk very poor. Big m not perfect by long stretch by I feel as a bettor fairer chance there.
I got fondness for harness racing and not many tracks you can play. Half mile tracks unbettable. B tracks wild west for crookedness. I'd likely find other entertainment option if big m closed. Lot of alternatives these days. Sports, thoroughbreds, poker, black Jack etc.

What are you talking about? The Canadian handle was assumed by you and 16W to be an equivalent comparison to the Meadowlands handle in ACTUAL money comparisons. I have shown you the FACT that it is NOT an equivalent comparison UNTIL you convert the Canadian currency to US currency. Only then can one make a determination as to which track actually has the higher amount. I showed you exactly how Canada's handle is figured out by them. They automatically convert any foreign currency to Canadian currency and post that total in Canadian dollars. Simple.

Time for some math, for the unejukated whoresmen. IF, and that is a big IF, the Pig M's cut is 3% of the handle. ( I think that is too much but I am being conservative ) The Pig M took in $111.547.50 in revenue. Half of that should be going into the purse account, so there goes $55.773.75, which leaves the Pig M the same. The total purses paid for the evening totaled $197,725. Now for all you scholarly, Gural ass kissers, that means the purse account LOST $141,951.25.
Only whoresmen and Gural's merry band of ass kissers , would celebrate a purse account dropping $140K, on a night when they were only competing against major harness tracks Northfield, Dayton, and Cal Expo. Keep begging for handouts. Time for the TAXPAYERS to get some relief from these dregs. If this is the best this so called sport has to offer. it is time to pull the plug.

If you feel that way, stop being involved in harness racing. If you have such a low regard for it, there are other outlets in life for a person to gravitate to. PIG M you say? You want to be taken seriously with a comment like that? Enjoy your life elsewhere and find another outlet for your venom.

Your so called number 1 harness track in North America, is not even a shadow of its former self. Your so called number 1 track depends on handouts from taxpayers to survive. Why should taxpayers have to bail out a corrupt business, with a corrupt track lessor, who employs two of the most crooked trainers in the game? It is well past time that the individuals involved wake up, and see that their business model is a train wreck. The so called sport has survived on handouts from casinos, and the taxpayers. If the Pig M were to race for their actual handle , without subsidies, using Saturday's numbers, their average purse would be in the $3,800 range. These are the facts, sir.
