Take a look at what those 10 claimers looked like that went in 2;05 , and what the 10 claimers look like today. Your to stupid to understand how far the standardbred breed has evolved in the past 40 years, but we've come a long way from where we were. The equipment and tracks have helped as well, the racebikes are a major component as well. FYI the t-breds have bred the bone out of their breed hoping for more speed and distance, but now are so fragile they are lucky not to break down. I've been breeding horses for over 40 years, and forgotten more than you will ever know!
