Post by: Sweet Louis on November 07, 2019, 04:43:34 PM: Was reading on the USTA site that Looney thinks Shartin has to win to get hoty but the writer thinks her main rival is Greenshoe.....am I crazy to think that shoe isn't her main rival that there are others more worthy....namely Bettors Wish or Warrawee UBeaut

How about betters wish?
Losing the messenger and the breeders crown and cane pace hurts though
Never worse than second though
However, should second place count towards earning HOY?

She's very good now for sure, but was 0-5 to start the year. Have to look at overall year. In my mind if Warrawee Ubeaut wins the Matron and beats Shartin in the TVG she should be horse of the year.
