Title: YONKERS POST 8 STATS VS OTHER TRACKS.

YONKERS WIN % 3.9 PLACE 8.0 SHOW 13.8

NORTHFIELD WIN 4.8 PLACE 9.3 SHOW 15.1

SARATOGA WIN 4.7 PLACE 9.3 SHOW 16.4

FREEHOLD WIN 5.0 PLACE 10 SHOW 17.8

HARRINGTON WIN 5.6 PLACE 15 SHOW 18.7

Yonkers has the worst stats in the Nation for outside draws.

either 1.)Bank the turns like Europe.
2) use a slanted gate
3) Let the horses release from the gate 50 yards earlier at higher speed
4) put the 8 on the second line(or give the trainer the option to do so)
5) do not allow any horse to draw the 8 hole more than once in his previous 5 starts
6) do nothing and watch the product degenerate slowly into oblivion with declining handle and interest.

Yes lower the variance more for owners lol
What’s the point of even being in this business then?
