The SOA of Yonkers has denied pensions to most horseman that competed and paid into the fund. Long time NY trainers like George Geigel, Joe Guarino and J C Jobidon that raced in NY for 30 years or more have been shut out.

Jc..ain't heard that name in ages..

What did he give as a reason for denial?

Trips to France are not cheap

Looks like you will need Popeye Doyle in on this.

They don't give valid reasons. They concoct nonsense about how many starts and did you race somewhere else. Don't know how they could deny Guarino. He was leading trainer for several years and maybe had a handful of starts at Meadowlands some years but he filled the box at Yonkers nightly and goes back to Roosevelt in the 70's.
