Any word on the street with the 800k Muscle Hill 3 year old. After that unforgettable 2yr old season waiting for a turn around but haven't seen him yet. Anyone has insight on the horse?

Why didn't the previous trainer qualify him a few week backs. If he's in 53 three weeks after Tatker got him he had to be down in 56 area? Doesn't make sense or are they just trying to save face. Doesn't make Bob Stewart come out smelling like roses. Nor the hype by Hunterton on this so far bust that has to have a tally of 1.0m bucks so far. Well i guess time will tell if this animal has enougj heart or needs a little extra.

I'm sure most will be excited with a fast time over the speed bias track. Any of the 3yr old horses and one filly would improve seconds with a trip over the Big M surface. There just racing for money however in different parts of the country.

First it was here comes the Hambo. Now it's give him time as he tries and figures it out. Horse went out making speed breaks and looks like that continues. Meanwhile watch the good times and see if there is a Hambo winner already racing.

By the way where are all those M Hill yearlings from 2016 that are 3 this year. Over 6mln maybe more spent and the leading contender is a Ohio My MVP which might be the only decent MVP.

I watched the race. After Takter got him back trotting (mid stretch) he was absolutely FLYING at the wire!! Very impressive finish!

he is emotionally not prepared that is why takter is sticking him in large groups he will either not like going with horses cuz all he wants to do is mess with them or he will learn that he's out there to race and the talent will show through.
Had one behind the gate 2yo trying to attack the horse next to him.After the race had the vet cut him problem solved.

Let's no just make this about Tactical Landing. My guess is with all his breaking problems he just doesn't have the heart to be a warrior race horse. We are into the first couple sire stakes for PA three year olds and a couple GC races. In 2016 buyers fell all over themselves trying to buy MH colts out of nice mares that had delivered stud colts. 22 of them sold for over 100k. That rang the register at 5.0mln. Just 1 of those 22 have made over 100k earning 370k at 2. Just above his price tag and I'm not sure he's been on the racetrack at 3. Most haven't even seen the track or collected anything meaningful in the price earnings dept. Sales night one after another all thought that had the perfect specimen. You have to sell your owner on something? So can we get the worthless USTA to do a where are they know on these perfectly built race horses? How many dumped to the Amish, or any sold for horse meat, or if any of those rich owners keep them for pets?

Let's see race over the smaller not faster tracks with 9 horses and then the racing starts. Meadowlands speed bias times are a joke Taylor. So when he actually makes a start against a field that has 3 or 4 quality horses then you can ask the nan sayers.

He wont start anywhere else but the M, until after the Hambo and then he will retire due to injury

If I had to wager a guess it's 7-14 at Big M in the Stanley Dancer. Doubt they go back to a small track a week after for a sire. It's qualifiers on the big track because the only saving grace at this point is a good showing in the Hambo. But just my guess. Why go to Philly the week after on a smaller track 2 weeks prior to Hambo.

This thing trotted 51 and a piece, first up the back half, looked like Takter might lose him at any moment, and was still moving forward at the wire. Scary possibilities if Jimmy can smooth out the kinks of this enigma.

From what was heard around PA barns and have no idea if true. Did come from a trainer however. That Stewart wanted no part with that horse anymore. No more into that then heresy. Hoosier, if you think 51 wins Hambo that's because the 2 heats went quicker to make the second heat and we have seen a few Hambo finals after the heat racing offer little movement for most of the race. Also Hoosier, the first heat will be nothing like the nw of 2 the horse raced against yesterday. Where 3 horses got away from the pack. Then TL went 1st over couldn't head the leader while staying parked, locking in the chalk who looked to have a lot of horse. With more quality and that exact move. Takter would have been pressure from a horse 2nd over pushing him faster at that point between the .5 and .75 pole. Whether Takter didn't ask for more speed so the horse wouldn't break? That trip is much different versus a quality group of stake horses. Should have a better gauge when he faces better next week in the Stanley Dancer.

Track has been ultrafast for weeks and perfect conditions past couple days. The stake horses would have been sub 50 this weekend trotting.

Didn't want the class test? If your a owner don't you want to see if your horse can stand up to pressure from stake horses? Not a walk around the track with nw of 2? I suppose if your spending 800k and paying a year and half of bills and two staking cycles. Another 5k to enter the Hambo doesn't mean much.

Dalrae your not seeing the big picture. That track has been a lightening strip for three weeks. Just about as perfect conditions you can find the last two weekends. I didn't see the weather for Friday or Sat. Yes if the conditions are right those 2 groups will press on near 1:50. It's seconds faster then most tracks.

Tactical is doing much better under Takters tutelage. Looks like a new horse, although always had the speed, just couldn't carry it. Hoping he'll be ready in 3 weeks.
Unsure about Atlanta. Has a race in Vernon next week and then they'll decide. Strictly Rick' call.
I have my fingers crossed tonight. Certainly as good as any, but needs luck. I think it would be a great story. Gural's favorite driver, and his least favorite owner ( I think Faraldo is disliked more than me as a lawyer)
