I would welcome more sprints. I think Maywood had 6 furlong races. That was FUN.

Shorter races are good for the gamblers,get the agony over with quicker

16 horse fields going for 11/2 mile and 10 minutes between races. That many horses and a 11/2 race would cut down on drugs.

It would be hard to win on drugs when you have 15 other horses Wareing down a druged horses.

Yonkers already offers 7 or 8 dashes each program: a sprint to the quarter pole, then a single file 3/4 mile jog to the “finish” line led by the sprint winner.
