Title: Mohawk Monday
Post by: whiptherabbit on April 30, 2018, 12:37:21 PM
Race#3-#4 Warrawee Roo 7-2 ML Has drawn two awful post positions to start the season. Will be well situated tonight & if he's 2-1 + he's worth a big bet in here.

Race#6-#3 Nobettorplacetobe 5-1 ML Draws in with a very competitive bunch, if McClure can get him on a helmet headed for home look for him to launch.

Best Of Luck

Luc Blais has lost his mind for putting his stock in McClure's hands. The kid doesn't have the hands to break in his young ones. Especially the trotters. I predict McClure's firing by end of May.

I'm not sure but Sylvain won't be driving them as McClure signed a contract to drive for Blais exclusively.

Moreau was the unhappy one. Felt Filion never gave Moreau the respect he deserved. Never even invited Moreau into his home.

2nd. #5 Sunny Beach Day 6/1ML--- He had good late pace in a start he probably needed. He picks up Henry in the bike tonight, so expect an aggressive drive. He hasn't won in over 2 years, he appears to be trending upwards in form though. 5 over 4,8 exacta and 4,8 over 5.

4th. #9 American Music 8/1ML--- He should have won his last start, but Mcnair used him up too early trying to park out Mission Three. He still had plenty of pace at the finish. He got a couple of extra days off, and should be ready to fire tonight. 9/46 exacta.

7th. #6 Muscles For Life 4/1ML--- He raced well against tougher in last. He drops into a great spot, and expect Mcnair to have the gas pedal down tonight. 6/24 exacta.

Good luck tonight everyone!!

Moreau has been told to slow down or he is going into retention.
Now he has to make sure he loses. Great game.

Not having much luck tonight so far. Looks like Roy & Mcnair have a rivalry going on. Did you see Roy celebrating after that win, it was by the turn though, not right at the wire.

McNair just made sure Roy didn't win that last race. Those two guys might end up in a boxing match yet,lol

Quote
Race 2 Inquiry in the stretch, # 2 Cinnabar Dragon (B. McClure) and #8 His Boy
Elroy (Phil Hudon) came together in the stretch. McClure said his horse was bearing
out and hard on the left line. #8 finished 3rd and #2 was 5th, no placing required.
Both horses charted with interference.

Hopefully there's lots of animosity as it makes for better racing

I just did the survey from WEG for American horse players! One question ask " what tracks have you bet I last year?"  Balmoral and Maywood are choices that tells you a lot about their attention the the horse racing industry

Inmates are running the asylum. What good are the fuckin judges then.

As per AGCO:
Race 3 Inquiry in the stretch. Judges spoke to D. McNair driving #1 B Yo Yo, and #5
S. Filion driving Wild and Crazy Guy. McNair told us that he was not bothered by
Filion when #5 moved out, no change in finish.

In that 3rd race it sure looked like Roy pulled back on his horse Big Rich at the half to let Warrawee Roo tuck in. I can't remember ever seeing that happen that late in a race. What was the purpose of that?
