He could have went faster, sure looked like he wanted to go around again. The driver had a tough time slowing him down after the wire. I don't know how much that driver weighs, he looked like a good 220 though.

Horse was a runaway which isn't good. Speed break before gate opened too. I'd wait and see on that one.

agree with you Purple....just flipped on that race & was impressed by that 56 back half & the horse dragging around Bea Arthur...
Who I have closer to 250 lbs from my sources...
The super fast early ones are not always around at the end but speed is speed...
First crop sire, who the hell knows what this guy has...
& 16-18 k price tag is beyond wishful thinking

And the horse was trained and driven by Charles Arthur! If this thing was out of Burke or Takter's barns he would be passing cars on the interstate. If one of the big barns bought him for 50k they would have no trouble making money!

Freddie Kruger gonna slice and dice this one to the winner's circle? 73cv.2 Still can't get over how "impressed" someone was with that first race. I watched the replay a few times that day and noted the issues I saw. Still could be an okay horse but nothing special. Fact that Freddie Kruger is on the horse tonight says all you need to know.
