so how do they know?
Are these horses on some form of undetectable EPO ?

They do it at many of the Tbred tracks...
Meadowlands and Mohawk are culprits as well..
Who is cashing these winners?

CAW has access to the tote and can see the wagers...they keep track of (everything and everyone) all the smart money, the money that's been paying out, ya know the insiders and spectacular pro gamblers.
They can tell ya before the race what a hi5, super, tri, straight # would pay out ngc3
CAW is made up of insiders too with their own insights on many races. 8)

CAW example...
T-bred race opens up with $20,000 win on a horse, makes it 3/5.
Every few minutes another $10,000 goes down on that horse.
CAW is reading that horse as live.
Now let's say the betting public catches on to that horse.
But the big bets on that horse at 30 seconds before gates open all gets refunded, you know a fake favorite to lead away from the real.
At 29 seconds CAW is cancelling its tickets and determining who that live horse based on betting patterns. By few seconds before gate opens CAW is all set.
The average bettor is like wtf just happened...what happened was the whole world changed in 30 seconds and you missed it.
