Title: Plop's Resilient
Post by: Trigger on November 06, 2026, 08:30:29 AM
In the movie Private Parts, Howard Stern's Autobiography there was a scene where his haters listened to him way more than his fans.  The line was "they want hear what he says next".

That's plop appeal...what is going to be said next here.

We got bots or some trickery, that just falsely inflates the numbers, but whether people drop off or enroll it'll keep churning.

This new "generation"  ngc3 the allowed spam  ngc3  and incessant complaining  ngc3...delusion.. . ngc3...egos...  ngc3

The devil might get defeated in the flick, and unless the powers to be here get scared, bought off, or the feds take it down... we might not be, but HELL is forever!  ;D

He has fallen far. He was always a hack.  He is nobody now.

Quote
The physical scale of his contraction became undeniable over the course of 2026:
• Broadcast Schedule Slashed: Following a short-term contract extension signed in late 2025, Stern downsized The Howard Stern Show from three live episodes a week to just one live day per week after Labor Day 2026.
• Loss of Howard 101: On September 1, 2026, SiriusXM officially shut down Howard 101, Stern's long-running archive and secondary channel, handing the airwaves over to Andy Cohen's Radio Andy. Stern is left with only a single channel, Howard 100.
• Staff Purges & Workplace Backlash: In mid-2026, Stern laid off roughly 50 staff members, including high-profile, 16-year veteran host Rahsaan Rogers and 25-year show fixture Benjy Bronk. Insiders and former staff heavily criticized Stern for offering "marginal severance packages" while he secured a highly lucrative $100 million paycheck for a separate project on HBO Max.
• Shrinking Digital Footprint: Stern has struggled to compete in the modern landscape against younger digital titans like Alex Cooper. Media tracking reports note that his YouTube unique viewers dropped 31% year-over-year, lagging far behind mainstream entertainment brands.
