UPDATE   WHO
I'm hearing Doherty has one and has one pending. He is one of the biggest dirt bags to ever set foot on a racetrack. How Monticello lets him race and stable there is a fucking joke.

Just one ruling so far.

On October 19  2026  the New York Drug Testing and Research Program reported to the New York State Gaming Commission the blood sample CV3700167  obtained pre-race from the horse SAVAGE LP  1st place finisher in race 5 on October 12  2026  at Monticello Raceway  revealed a TCO2 level of 42.1+/-1.3millimoles per liter  which exceeds the permitted threshold for a Lasix horse. On October 29  2026  trainer Jim Doherty Jr. appeared before a representative of the NYSGC. After consideration  it is determined that Jim Doherty Jr.  as trainer of record of SAVAGE LP  on October 12  2026  is in violation of NYSGC rules 4120.2; 4120.4; 4120.13(A). Pursuant to NYSGC rule 4120.13(D)(1)  trainer Jim Doherty Jr. is hereby suspended for a period of 60 days   Novemberr 13  2026  through and including January 11  2027  and fined the sum of $1 000.00. During the term of this suspension trainer Jim Doherty Jr. is denied access to all course and grounds under the jurisdiction of the New York State Gaming Commission and trainer transfers from his stable must receive Judges approval. Further  pursuant NYSGC rules 4120.13(E)  SAVAGE LP  is declared disqualified from said race and all purse earnings shall be returned and redistributed to appropriate finishers and must re-test at a permissible TCO2 level prior to being declared eligible to race. SAVAGE LP  regardless of trainer  shall be subject to 6-hour pre-race detention for the period of 6 months  beginning November 13  2026 through and including May 13  2027  irrespective of any trainer or owner transfers.
