Trainers give instructions to a HARNESS DRIVERS
THEY GET OFFENDED IMMEDIATELY
OPINIONS PLS
ps
Let a t bred rider get offended. 😂😂😂.. with the likes of bill mott or mark casse
See how often they get rides again ngc3 ngc3
Harness is so far behind the times it’s ridiculous

Good drivers don't need instructions.
Bad drivers can't follow instructions.
So, no.
-
Dexter Dunn is exempt, but if there was something to say I'm sure he'd listen like all the top guys.
Gingras, Wrenn, Page, Bongiorno and whom ever else is always on the Burke plan.
Nothing to teach Bartlett at Yonkers....or guys like Case when he drove there, Campbell at the BigM.....Wally or Ranger at Pompano.
They're retarded at Hoosier and crooks at Mohawk, stage races better than drive winners at any safety cost.

A smart driver on a horse for the first time should ask the trainer about the horse’s tendencies.

Feel free to name names of drivers ngc3
They shouldn't, they're fucking dumb, arrogant, both.
Maybe someone will chime in who actively drives who agrees or disagrees with you.

What if the trainer's instructions make no sense and as a jockey you read the racing form and have a better strategy.

That's called an audible.

That's called an audible.
when the gate opens, the game plan goes out the window.....

More than a few harness trainers told me during my years of racing
You can’t give instructions to a driver. They will purposely do the opposite and never drive your horses again
Best bet be quiet
And hope they do the best
That’s not a lie. That’s what they told me
I’m trying to separate the difference from t breds and harness
Its a totally different world
🙄🙄
I learn more everyday 64 and not to old to learn

I remember stories about Pierce. He won big races, forgot the instructions, and drove it his way. 73cv.2
-
I only give generals.
"he's better off a helmet."
"ya cant yank him outta a hole he'll flip."
"take it easy on him."
"hammer down"
"he's running in pretty good but he's got a mouth sore we're working on."
"we added/took away x,y,z. Changed shoes. Going barefoot wtc."
If your driver needs any more instruction than that you need a different driver.

Again it’s not about the INSTRUCTIONS. it’s they feel they are above INSTRUCTIONS
ITS NOT SO IN YHE THOROUGHBRED game

Its not that different Luc lol. Everything changes when the gate springs and more often than not they do what they want anyway. If they're more polite when someone's trying to give a riding pre-race lecture it's more to do with environment/culture. Half don't understand half of what you're saying anyway lol.
