Most tracks will not put up the money. I am more outraged by the Hambo not being at the top track in North America.

Correct!

Purse $$$$ is not a concern! You're just racing to get in the final. Stay away from the 'best' horse/favorite in these races as you can get a better ROI if you find the right horse!

The races in your scenario would look much different compared to who all made it for the finals next week.
