So the question begs to be asked: If they had this $$ , why didn't they commit and keep the Hambo?
They tried to be cute and bluff and their bluff got called. Now they're being all vengeful and create these
races to directly compete. I don't want to hear the BULLSHIT that Gural cares so much about harness racing.

Dates for the Hambletonian have not been released maybe going back to the original date from DuQuoin which was the Saturday before Labor Day ?

Hoosier could always push back the Hambo a week or two.
The Hambletonian is traditionally raced on the first Saturday in August
Gural intentionally picked late July so he wouldn't conflict and to keep all the horses in NJ until its time to ship to Hoosier
they all can race in both places
